About Al Reem Island
Al Reem Island is a reclaimed 8.8 sq km island roughly 600 metres off Abu Dhabi island, developed in parallel by Aldar, Tamouh Investments and Reem Investments. Sky Tower Abu Dhabi rises 312 metres over 80 floors and opened in 2010, while The Gate Towers define the skyline. Reem Mall opened in May 2024 with more than 400 stores and the Snow Abu Dhabi indoor snow park. The island moved under ADGM jurisdiction in April 2023.
