About Aljada
Aljada is Arada's 24 million sq ft mixed-use city in Muwaileh, central Sharjah, the emirate's largest-ever project, launched in 2017 with construction starting in 2018 and a stated value of AED 35 billion. Its central hub Madar, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, opened in February 2020 with a 600,000 sq ft park, more than 5,000 trees, a 500-capacity amphitheatre and a skate park. Arada has completed around 9,000 homes.
