Al Yalayis 5 is one of five Dubai Land Department sectors making up the Al Yalayis area, inland of Jebel Ali between Emirates Road and the Al Qudra corridor. It is largely undeveloped land: in February 2023 some 8,500 residential plots were allocated to Emirati citizens here, and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment is building 706 homes targeted for Q4 2028. On the freehold side, Emaar's Heights Country Club & Wellness is registered within the sector.
